It’s National Old Stuff Day! This day is meant for people to get a head start on spring cleaning, however, the history of this day dates back to the early 20th century. What old stuff do you think the library has? Visit the library and find out for yourself!
It’s National Button Week! To celebrate we are making a button wreath…here is what you will need. Buttons (of course) of various sizes, colors, and shapes, along with glue (we will be using E6000), and a Styrofoam wreath. If you don’t have enough buttons to cover the whole wreath, you can always use yarn or ribbon to wrap around the empty spaces.

Hop on over to the library for our second annual Spring Shindig! From 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM enjoy indoor crafts and activities, visit Angie Hale’s petting zoo and pony rides, skip on over to the big parking lot for lunch, and try D&T Grill LLC food truck and grab a SnoBiz snowball. Grown-ups are encouraged to visit the Vitalant Blood Mobile and save a life. Beginning from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM the outdoor fun begins. While visiting, snap a picture with the Easter Bunny and find the leprechauns running around! An event for all ages to enjoy!
Paint your own ceramic teapot. Add your own flare to these small teapots that can be used to plant small succulent plants or place small trinkets in them once they have dried.
The children will have an opportunity to create whatever they wish using the items provided on the tables.
What is more fun than World Math Day? Donuts! Visit the library and learn how to play Dominoes, it’s basically adding dots, but we “added” donuts to make it more fun!
