July is here!

Have you looked at the July calendar yet? Let us fill you in on some exciting events coming up. The Yarbrough Educational Reptile Show is coming on July 18. If you didn't see them last year, you will want to see them this year! It is truly an educational program, they bring turtles, snakes (venomous and non-venomous), exotic snakes, lizards and a hand-raised American Alligator. It's a great experience for all ages.

On July 19, this is Movie Day at the library. Great for all ages and this year we are showing Sherlock Gnomes. The movie starts at 3pm, we have popcorn, juice and a fun time!

Tornado in a Jar

ibass Teens

Yesterday during our teen program, our activity for the day was tornado in a jar. Yes, you read that right. Add a little dish soap and a little vinegar, shake and you have a tornado in a jar. We try our best to come up with activities that will interest our young minds. We have made slime, snowstorm in a jar and now a tornado. If you are in grades 6th-12th Grade, we would love to see you at the library on Wednesdays at 4:30. It last an hour and its FREE to public.
